不同于EP1，EP2充斥着"魔法之力"，在这种状况下推理是可能的吗?还是不可能?贝阿朵莉切与右代宫战人的推理战争正式开始，而在EP2出现的真实的话语"红字"当然也会在PS3版上出现。
本作是07th Expansion·龙骑士07继《寒蝉鸣泣之时》之后的PC最新作《海猫鸣泣之时》于PS3之重制版。PS3版将收录PC版本的4个章节，并在结束之后有额外的"茶会"，PS3版本的人物设计是由江草天仁以及FFC所负责。
游戏预定在12月13日于PS3平台发售。
