大中华区里，台湾香港的动漫市场要比大陆好这是一个明显的事实，日本歌手声优和画师作家也更愿意去台湾参加一些活动，要不知这几年来大陆经济发展的不错，互联网兴起，或许Anisama这样的活动更可能在台湾或者香港落地海外。同样论同人展，和邪社最近报道几次国内的CP，YACY、MYC在规范和细节上也还略逊于台湾的开拓祭来比，毕竟后面是有一家广告公司来为班底的组织方。而且很多官方会参与这样的活动，而中国的同人展机会官方都不太会以官方的名义参与。
开拓动漫祭（英语译名：Fancy Frontier简称FF），是由台湾杜葳广告股份有限公司所举办之同人志即卖会，简称FF。至2009年1月底为止，已经举办了23场活动（包含Petit Fancy与CWF）。目前以台北市的国立台湾大学综合体育馆为主要举办场地。
